The Skep Knitting & Quilting Shop

The Skep was a mill shop selling fabrics from Reuben Gaunts Mill and has been in existence for over 30 years. It has evolved into a shop selling knitting yarns from the most luxurious to the cheaper but still excellent quality products and the best quality patchworking / dressmaking cottons from the USA. We have up to 1000 fabrics at any one time and many, many yarns. Mindful of the fact that everyone loves a bargain and there is always a bargain to be found here! We sell patterns, books, magazines and accessories for all your quilting, knitting and crochet needs and we also have classes. These are taught by the best teachers who are hugely experienced, published authors and the top of their field.
