The Royal Exchange was established in around 1855. The pub which is now a Freehouse, changed hands in 2012 and belongs to a local farming family who have lived and worked in the area for over 90 years.
The pub underwent a complete revamp in 2012. So if it’s a quick pint of local real ale at the bar, a leisurely bottle of wine next to the log fire or on the sun-terrace, or to enjoy a home-cooked meal in our cosy garden room, we hope The Royal Exchange will be the pub for you.
