The RailStaff Awards

Information about the event

The RailStaff Awards started in 2007 with an aim at recognising the great work that the people who work in the industry do. As publishers of RailStaff, we saw great achievements, courage and bravery from rail staff in every edition. Yet nobody was saying 'thanks' or 'well done'.

On the face of it the RailStaff Awards is a ceremony recognising courage, bravery and professionalism of the people who deliver the railway - from drivers to cleaners, and engineers to station staff. Often these are stories of lives saved, careers turned around and adversity conquered.

2013 saw over 1,000 people in attendance, 1,500 nominations and 35,000 votes.

However the evening itself is much more. Join us this October for wonderful food, drinks receptioni, music, dancing, floor shows, and a theme. We'll keep you guessing on the theme until we announce it later in June!

So, come and join us at the Rail Industry event of the year on Saturday 25th October 2014 at The Ricoh Arena and until then, keep those nominations coming!



About the night

On arrival, you will be shown into the drinks reception, where you will have the chance to catch up with friends and colleagues.

You will then go through to the Arena, where you will be seated at your table to commence your 4 course meal followed by an enjoyable evening of fantastic entertainment and of course, the Award presentations.

As well as the amazing event, there is also a 24 hour Super Casino onsite, which will be available for free to all our guests after our event has finished. This has the usual casino tables and slot machines in abundance as well as a cabaret bar showing various acts throughout the night, a restaurant offering snacks and a full bar.

We also have an exclusive RailStaff Awards lounge area for our guests to use. This offers our guests a unique space to continue to party after our event has finished regardless of whether they want to gamble or not.
