The Pumpkin Patch Child Care Centre

The Pumpkin Patch is located at the heart of the community in governors Hill.

Parents comment on how homely the nursery is. They are delighted with the dedicated environment and staff, the high-quality equipment and happy buzz of children enjoying interesting activities offered by our wonderful team.

Children’s natural curiosity and their choices and inspirations provides the base for our planning and implementation. Splodging paint, planting seeds, baking biscuits or practising early writing skills, every child is encouraged with creative and motivating activities and opportunities as they learn through play.

We deliver the EYFS curriculum from birth to five years and much more.

We provide nappies, wipes, nappy cream, an opportunity for your litle ones to have a nap if they require one with aromatherapy and soothing music. Included is a nutritionally balanced hot midday meal/lunch and wholesome snack in the afternoon. The children are offered drinks of water throughout the day.

All the children have a Learning Journey and folder of their work which we record through an online private journal called Tapestry.
