More about The Prince Albert

Well, where to start?

The Prince Albert was run by the same family for around 30 years and was known to locals as the Pots and Pans due to the vast amount of brass hanging from the ceiling. Upstairs, above the pub, was also a well-known restaurant called the Victorian.

Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest brewery, refurbished the pub approximately 4 years ago and we think it's fair to say the pub had lost its way somewhat.

Just over a year ago the current Landlord Lee, acquired The Prince Albert and the old pub is back to life, with vibrant weekends and a friendly midweek atmosphere.
The Prince Albert is, a good old fashioned local pub and has become a corner stone for the local community, through their commitment to entertainment and its welcoming feel.

The main attraction at The Prince Albert is, without a doubt, the live music. We have music downstairs in the bar every Friday night with varied events for your entertainment on Saturdays too.

The Prince Albert is more than just a pub though.
On the 1st of February 2017 Mama Carmen's are opening a 50 cover restaurant upstairs.
Mama Carmen's is a well known and well respected restaurant, who have over 35 years local experience of serving the public, with great quality food and fantastic service.
Mama Carmen's are committed to great value and great flavours using only the best locally sourced and freshest ingredients.

Why not come and visit us and see what it feels like to step back into a pub with a great atmosphere, where everybody is welcome.
