The New Market

The New Market is now open 7 days a week, 10am till late! Something for everyone - 3 bars: main, lounge & courtyard. Pool on Tuesdays, Gaming night Wednesdays, Student nights on Thursdays, & live music at the weekend!!

An ever expanding selection of lagers, beers, wines and spirits - you ask, we listen!!

Rehearsal space available for local bands at the rear of the pub - ask at the bar for details.

The New market is recently under new ownership and the pub has had somewhat of a facelift - there are lots of plans underway for continued developments so pop in to see us and see how things are changing.

We strongly support live music & DJs, both locally and further afield (accomodation possibly available for bands travelling large distances), so if you are interested in playing, send us a link with your soundcloud or drop a CD into the bar.
