The Mount Pleasant, Wombourne, South Staffordshire
Up til the late 1950’s Wombourne was a small rural settlment, it has since spread into what locals say is 'Englands Biggest Village'. Wombourne in old english means ‘the winding stream’. The blend of the old locals
and new comers within the village gives a great atmosphere, they’ve come together to make the place what it is.
The Mount Pleasant as a public house that dates back to the early 20th century.
In the last 2 years the pub has had a large refurb which makes the place brighter and more welcoming.
We hope you come and visit The Mount Pleasant and keep the pub at the heart of the community.
