Comprising two floors (upstairs is our candlelit restaurant) so from intimate dining to eating in the bar area, you can be assured of a warm welcome from our vastly experienced staff. With an extensive range of excellent beers & real ales (so good in fact we have been given a head brewers club award) wines and spirits, we also serve cream teas and coffee in addition to a range of light snacks.

Our varied menu contains something to suit all tastes, including traditional Sunday lunches using the finest free-range locally produced meat.

Whether you are looking for a peaceful drink whilst watching the world go by from the front terrace, or a break from sightseeing in our secluded courtyard, you'll find a warm and friendly welcome and authentic Cotswold atmosphere at the Mermaid Inn.

We are proud to offer an extensive menu prepared using local and free-range produce. Having worked in the industry for many years, we understand that fresh ingredients, prepared with care by experienced chefs on the premises, are essential to providing the best quality meals.

You can be sure that our fish is the freshest around with deliveries made every day - in fact, our our fish and chips are so popular locally we can now offer a take-away service, should you be passing by. We know exactly how to prepare the best Traditional Sunday roast too, with homemade pies also a speciality. Children are welcomed and well catered for with healthy dishes that will appeal to younger tastes. Cream teas are available every afternoon, and we naturally offer an extensive wine list.

We are pleased to include in our menu a selection of vegetarian dishes and meals suitable for those following a gluten-free diet.
