The pub itself is open Tuesday to Sunday,
12pm until late & Mondays 4pm until late.

The Kings Head is situated in the village of Guilsfield near Welshpool in North Powys close to the Wales/England border and within close proximity to the stunning Lake Vyrnwy.

The traditional and historic pub is now run by Richard & Sara Griffiths who took over the reins in 2010.

Following extensive refurbishment in December 2012 you are now assured of a very warm welcome in our restaurant which can seat up to 54 people and offers a very wide choice to suit all tastes in addition to some good local cask ales to quench your thirst.

Our beer garden at the rear of the property is ideal for the family and has an Under 5's Toddler Zone. We can cater for birthdays, christenings, weddings and funeral teas and have a very competitive buffet menu available which includes mouth-watering homemade cakes and desserts.

Full wheelchair access is available throughout and there is a disabled toilet on site too.
