The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms, Heath, Wakefield is operated by locally based Ossett Brewery. Ossett Brewery beers are all caskconditioned ales, brewed with the highest quality malted barley and wheat, hops, water and yeast. Ossett beers have won several national awards, including Supreme Champion Beer of Britain (SIBA awards) for its strong ale, Excelsior.

We are very proud of the quality we achieve with all our beers and welcome you to step inside and sample the large range of both Ossett and guest beers available on the bar. All our ale lines are water-cooled ensuring a consistent pint temperature.

‘Hidden away on the outskirts of Wakefield, the village of Heath is a living monument to a bygone age. The village consists entirely of buildings dating from the 15th to 19th centuries. Inside the Grade II listed pub you will find a delightful maze of cosy rooms, and still entirely lit by gas lamps. A fully working Yorkshire range is another wonderful reminder of days of old’.
