The Hole in the Wall

The Hole in the Wall in Little Wilbraham, Cambridge, is a picturesque 16th century restaurant and free house run by Masterchef finalist and chef Alex Rushmer.

Just a short jaunt from both Cambridge and Newmarket, The Hole in the Wall is the ideal location to enjoy great food, perfectly kept ales and fine wines in surroundings that are as cosy when it’s cold as they are beautiful when it’s balmy.

The menu at The Hole in the Wall evolves throughout the year to reflect the influence of the seasons on our cooking. In addition to our a la carte lunch menu, we run a set lunch which changes on a regular basis but is always excellent value.

The restaurant and pub are open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday between noon and two o’clock. Supper is served Wednesday to Saturday from seven o’clock and Sunday lunch is, as you would expect, dedicated to the great British roast dinner.
