The Rother Valley offers a plethora of walking and cycling opportunities; boat trips, departing within walking distance of the properties, travel along the river to the iconic, fairytale, moated Bodiam Castle which has changed little in 600 years. Also within walking distance of the farm is the Kent and East Sussex vintage steam railway which chugs its way through 10½ miles of beautiful countryside to Tenterden, known as ‘The Jewel in the Weald’, once a thriving Cinque Port town but now 10 miles form the sea! No holiday would be complete without a trip to the golden sand dunes at Camber, glorious in the sunshine. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
