The Grocery

We are a small independent shop located in an amazing Georgian building right in the heart of Hoxton.

The space is beautiful (even if we do say so!) and filled to the brim with thousands of products ranging from Neals Yard cheeses, Monmouth coffee, to fresh organic produce; we also like to boast about our wine and spirits section.

The stores emphasis is on health and community. We believe that the two are closely linked and that large supermarkets are destroying this, promoting unhealthy dietary habits and destroying the infrastructure of local communities by undercutting local shops forcing them to close. We try to get the best deals from suppliers and pass them on to our customers. Watch out for our special offers. They really are special ;)

We have a cafe in the store which produces quite possibly some of the best food in London. They use organic and fair trade produce. The menu changes daily and best of all they do what can only be described as the best English breakfast this side of the river.
