Cake decorating & Bread baking are our passion!
Karen Lawson & Tom Mansfield have been teaching for over 22 years each. We have our City & Guilds & Diplomas & we are also fully CRB checked.

We opened the Fruitcake Factory in the beautiful village of Meopham, set against the backdrop of a windmill & overlooking the Village Green.
It is a small studio & we only allow a maximum of 4 adults or 6 children so that we can devote more of our course time to each student.
With Karen, you can learn how to make & bake cupcakes, learn how to make flowers, flower bouquets, bells, sugar modelling, icing, cocoa painting & more.
With Tom, you can learn how to make hand made Artisan breads from wholemeal, white, granary, cobs & rolls to special breads like walnut & fruit, green olive focaccia or Cholla. You can also learn how to make & bake buns, biscuits, cakes, meringues, pastries and more. All of the above classes have a discount if booked with friends.
Special classes are available if you want help with your own projects such as wedding & birthday cakes for your friends.
We also offer a fantastic, bespoke Wedding Cake service under the name of Our Wedding Cakes
