The Forklift Company

Founded in 2007, The Forklift Company supplies Manual Handling Equipment to companies Nationwide and overseas. All products are sourced as used machines which are then thoroughly restored to 'as new' condition ready for sale.

To ensure our products are of the highest quality, we supply all brands and types of Forklifts and MHE, which include; Pedestrian, Counterweight, Side-loading, Reach Trucks, Flexi & Bendi, and these are available in gas, electric and diesel versions.

As Managing Director, I am responsible for all purchasing and supply of all equipment for the Forklift Company. I regularly travel around the UK and Europe, visiting some of the largest manufacturers to negotiate the best deals on the best equipment available.

Goods that are purchased are transported by container and low loader to our base. Upon arrival, they are immediately inspected. All faults and defects are reported and all parts required are ordered brand new, to restore the equipment to original manufacturers specification.

Once the machine has come out of production it goes through a further PDI inspection to ensure the fit and finish is of an excellent standard. Before sale, each machine is certified by LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations) to ensure it meets all health & safety criteria.

At the Forklift Company, we employ very experienced engineers and we are also running a trainee program in which the apprentice will spend one day per week at college to obtain all relevant certificates and and accreditation from our industry governing bodies.
