The Festival of Quilts

The Festival of Quilts is organised with the support of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles www.quiltersguild.org.uk and over the last 13 years it has become the largest and most inspiring patchwork and quilting event in Europe.

The Festival of Quilts offers a complete patchwork and quilting experience.

We present a host of gallery exhibitions from leading international artists and groups; we display over 700 quilts entered into competition and we offer the largest range of patchwork & quilting supplies under one roof than any other event, with over 300 companies exhibiting.

We offer two complete workshop programmes (the Quilt Academy and the Quick & Easy Workshops) with over 250 sessions to choose from, and the fun continues in the evening with some fabulous entertainment including the Awards Ceremony, Fashion shows, and exclusively this year a charity supper hosted by political activist and quilt-maker Mary Fisher.
