The Derby Arms is a traditional, friendly english pub, situated only 3 miles from the market town of Ulverston in the picturesque village of Urswick.
Urswick with its tarn, which is fishable, and great walks has plenty to do for those outdoor adventurers out there but if you are wanting to travel a little further we are in an ideal place for exploring the furness peninsular with towns like Barrow and Dalton which have a lively and buzy night life with pubs and clubs.
We are also situated around 15-20 minutes away from England's Lake Distict with lakes like Coniston and Windermere only a short drive or bus ride away.
