The Dance Depot was founded 1992 in Cudworth by Eleanor Claire, in 2002 the school then relocated to Shafton and since then has grown in pupils and teaching staff.

The Dance Depot is a friendly dance school where everyone is encouraged and made to feel welcome. The school offers a wide variety of classes for children and adults covering dance and fitness.

The Dance Depot caters to the needs of each individual. Classes are available for children and adults that are just looking to get involved in a hobby for fun and fitness as well as those who are looking to get involved in Dance and take IDTA Examinations and Teaching Qualifications. Children showing a strong interest and potential are also encouraged to take part in dance festivals. The Dance Depot has a yearly Presentation Evening in which everyone from the school is invited to take part, this a wonderful event which the children thoroughly enjoy, it is a chance for the children to perform on stage in a professional environment, for family and friends to see all their hard work and progress as well as receiving examination awards they have achieved throughout the year.
