The Canterbury Institute of Performing Arts is one of the countries leading Performing Arts Schools. Especially designed by industry professionals, CPA is educationally linked to The Canterbury Academy and successful auditionees will join one of our 2 year BTEC level 3 courses. Whether your interest is in Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance, Music or Technical Theatre then we have the course for you. Along with the highly skilled and experienced staff of the Canterbury Academy we also deliver the course using an incredible range of working Industry Professionals and some of the countries leading practitioners, many of whom also teach in some of the top Drama Schools including RADA and The East 15 Drama School.
Many of our students have been successful with their drama school and University applications and some are already making an impact on the industry on stage and screen from our dance troop and Musical Theatre casts performing at high profile events to our actors appearing in films and TV shows such as 'Into The Woods' with James Corden, The 'Les Miserable' film and The BBC's 'Casualty'
