The Barrowboat Company

These beautiful traditional looking wooden dinghies are hand built to order
They range in size from 6 feet to 13 feet 6 inches , with either stem or pram
bowed styles availible.
The name originates from the wheel fixed under the bow and the oar handles
protruding through holes in the aft transom thus forming a wheelbarrow
for ease of transport.
Barrowboats are bought by people as tenders to larger craft or people with
lakes / rivers through their land or as a very exclusive gift for the person who
has everthing.
The Barrowboat is light ( lighter than the same size of GRP boat ) so is easily
car topable and the smallest one even fits inside a large estate car.
