The Avenue Furniture

Established in March 2016, The Avenue is a unique home design store featuring some truly stunning pieces. All of our products are either renovated, refurbished or repurposed by our owner and designer Matthew Menzies. Matthew has experience in multiple areas including property refurbishment, electrical building services, lighting design and teaching.

Our latest pieces include items for the living room, bedroom, hallway or office. We have designed a beautiful Vintage Camera light fitting which we love, also the most recent project is the refurbishment of a stunning walnut writing bureau; you can take a sneak peak on our furniture board.

We also do commission work, if you have a particular theme that you would like to use give us a shout and we can take a look at designing you a truly bespoke design, be it lighting, clocks or furniture. We love putting our design skill to the test.
