The Animal Chiropractor

Chiropractic is a professional title protected by law in the UK and Channel Islands. This means that as a profession, high standards can be guaranteed and maintained.

All animal chiropractors have completed 4-5 years undergraduate human chiropractic training, are registered with the general chiropractic council and have then undertaken postgraduate animal chiropractic training. Both of our chiropractors completed training with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (Germany) and Options for Animals (Kansas, USA). In addition both chiropractors successfully completed the independent certification (consisting of a practical and written examination) of the IVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association) and are registered with all major pet insurance providers.

The combined experience of both chiropractors is now over 40 years.

We also treat people of all ages.

Horses recover more rapidly and have less re-exacerbations of conditions when their riders are treated as well. Agility handlers often feel as though their speed and agility (as well as that of their dog) improves with Chiropractic.

Chiropractic generally involved manual, short lever manipulation but also can include soft tissue work, ultrasound, cold laser, kinesiotaping and acupuncture.

We have experience of working with professional sports teams and individuals (rugby union and premiership football) as well as dressage, show jumping, agility etc.
