Television and Radio Techniques (TRT) Ltd was founded in 1976 and has, since then, helped thousands of people become a powerful and effective communicator.

Alford combines theoretical excellence in journalism with nearly thirteen years hands-on media expertise gained with the BBC.
His BA Hons in Media Communication Studies together with his Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism blend neatly with his journalistic skills gained at the local and national level.
Alford worked as a reporter, producer and presenter in News and Current Affairs for BBC Local Radio and BBC Radio 4 Today, You and Yours and he was part of the Sony award winning team on Radio 5 Live’s Black to the
Future programme.
His credits include interviews on BBC Ten O clock news with David Blunkett and Virginia Bottomley. Alford also interviewed sporting heroes such as Viv Richards and Michael Atherton, and covered murder trials for national radio such as the death of Sophie Hook in South Wales in 1996.
Alford has been delivering stimulating and challenging media training courses for the last fourteen years. In that time he has trained people at all levels within the private and public sector including the Bank of England, the Highways Agency and Rolls Royce.
