Based in Liverpool Tawd Street Garage Limited (TSGL) is an automotive repair and MOT centre, dealing with all classes of vehicles, specialising in Taxis cabs. In addition to this core business, TGSL runs and operates its own fleet of Hackney Cab vehicles and provides fleet management.
We can also referr and handle insurance claims & are major supplies of London Taxi Parts at competitive prices.

TSGL has been established since 1990. It has always been owned by Peter and Annette Nutbrown. Its success is largely due to specialising in Hackney cabs and diesel injection. Employing qualified staff has given us the ability to work on all types and makes of vehicles, especially as the Taxi trade has a very large selection of private hire cars.

Many small repair garages have unfortunately failed due to relying on passing trade and not providing for account customers.

Its 20 years of trading means that TSGL now enjoys an excellent reputation across Merseyside as one of the leaders in its industry. For example, it has recently received requests from Liverpool City Council to provide training schemes in compliance standards. TSGL has 10 full time and 3 part time employees.
