Welcome to the Training and Education page for The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. Over 2000 students study with us each year because of our international reputation for excellence in mental health and social care. As such, we are recognised as a world leader in this field.

We are delighted to offer accessible, flexible and personalised education to those of varying levels of expertise within the mental health and social care sectors - some students come to us as they want to change career and gain the education and clinical training they require to practice. Some work in their chosen career and have a desire to upskill and keep their training up to date. Some study with us via blended learning; they achieve their goals by working online and in the classroom.

In addition, we welcome many professionals to over 80 CPD short courses every year.
