The Tartan Weaving Mill is the only fully working commercial mill in Edinburgh. You can watch tartan being woven on high speed powerlooms. You can also purchase tartan cloth or blankets from these looms or have your own tartan designed and woven. We also have a specialist ‘Bagpipes Galore’ section and also a great take home is a fabulous colour photo of you or a group in full highland dress from our costume area.
