Here at Tardis Education we believe in working with children, young people and adults to develop lifelong skills. We believe that people are the greatest resource and we are committed to investing in them to reach their full potential.

Schools and other learning and community environments should cultivate not limit creativity. Realising your true potential involves learning to solve problems and take on challenges. To do this you'll need more than being solely focused on how well you can cram in and memorise information. The school curriculum is often narrowed and linear and more concerned with standardised testing. The emphasis here unfortunately is on us all being the same and being judged by the same measure. It certainly makes it easier to 'measure' everyone wether or not the measure is meaningful.

Business leaders, however, are very vocal in their need for innovators, creative thinkers, team workers and communicators, all of which are not emphasised in our national curriculum. It's imperative that these skills are taught and practised not only for the fulfilment of the person but also for the survival of our economy. The majority of our successful economic successes lies with creative industries that need creative thinkers and communicators.

We all believe in and are committed to raising standards. Creativity does not mean that standards will suffer in fact we believe the opposite. We know that if you provide opportunities you will indeed realise potential. We can provide creative opportunities and together discover new and exciting possibilities. It's only in this way you will be intrinsically motivated and want to realise your true and full potential.
