Tara Centre

We are a community organisation offering:

- Classes, courses and workshops promoting wellbeing, kindness and compassion
- A space for self-development and spiritual exploration
- A space for healing through social connection
- Community health and wellbeing projects
- Trauma-informed practice and opportunities for trauma recovery

We are dedicated to increasing access to practices that improve health and wellbeing for individuals and the wider community, and we currently run three community projects from the Centre. All these projects are staffed by the goodwill and hard work of volunteers which currently total around 40 in number! These are:

- Wellbeing Drop-in for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Volunteer Helpers
- Community TimeXchange
- The TLC Clinic (a low cost/no cost health clinic for people living on little or no income)

We are also in the process of developing a project to support men.
