Jonathan Perry, the owner of tamper: coffee, is a trained
coffee barista from New Zealand; for the past four years
he has worked with the top coffee companies and coffee
bean roasters in New Zealand and is bringing that
knowledge and passion for coffee to Sheffield.

The key to tamper coffee is freshness, customer
service and a quality product; the coffee beans are
freshly roasted in Yorkshire by a boutique roaster,
this guarantees a superior flavour and produces an
exceptional coffee with or without milk. Because Tamper
has two grinders, every week there is a different coffee
from around the continent to try or to buy for at home.
Not only is coffee on offer, but award winning
speciality teas, chocolate based beverages
and cold drinks are also available.

Food is also an important feature at tamper coffee
they have sourced and recruited local country market
bakers to produce the cakes and slices with local
artisan bakers, Cat Bakery, producing fresh breads daily
for all the sandwiches and soups on offer.
And last but not least it wouldn’t be a New Zealand
influenced coffee bar without Pies, tamper coffee has
worked with a local award winning pie maker to produce
a range of pies packed with flavour suitable to be eaten
in or on the go. The stand out is the New Zealand Steak
and Cheese but they are all truly memorable
