The Live-in Caregiver Program was created by the Canadian Government in 1992. The program brings temporary residents to Canada as live-in employees to care for children, seniors and persons with disabilities to cover a shortage of such workers in Canada. After working two years as a live-in caregiver, you can apply to be a permanent resident of Canada and sponsor your family members, including your husband and your children, so that they can join you in Canada.
We offer help with:
- Assessment of qualifications under the Live-in Caregiver Program (LICP)
- Work Permit processing for Canada under LICP (by licensed immigration consultant)
- Resubmission of previously refused cases
- First Aid & CPR training
Every Sunday at 12 pm we hold free orientation sessions explaining the Live-in Caregiver Program and the application process.
