Swaythling Spiritualist Church

We are a small friendly Spiritualist Centre in the Swaythling area of Southampton that was formed in 1951, with the present building formally opened in September 1958.

We are affiliated with the Spiritualists' National Union, which is one of the countries main spiritualist organisations.

We are a registered charity with a small but dedicated team of volunteers, who help keep the centre up and running.
All our funds come from donations and legacies, which benefit the centre, its members and the public. Our centre is built around the seven principles of the Spiritualists' National Union as well as the triple aspects of Spiritualism these being Religion, Science, and Philosophy.

We welcome everyone through our doors with a big smile and a non-judgemental attitude. Our aim is education and development of the mind, body, and spirit, in a supportive environment.

We offer Spiritual healing and development groups, as well as workshops, demonstrations of mediumship, and philosophy evenings.

Every week we hold a Divine Service, that celebrates our religion with philosophy followed by a demonstration of mediumship proving survival of the Human Soul beyond this physical life.

All our events are open to members of the public and everyone is welcome at our centre.

Divine Service : Sunday 18.30 - 20.00

(on selected Sundays we conduct 20/20/20 services. These are a little different and consist of 20 minutes healing, 20 minutes philosophy and 20 minutes mediumship)

Healing services : Tuesday 19.30 - 21.00

All our services are open to everybody and free of charge although a donation towards the up keep of the centre is always welcome.

Open development circle :- every other Thursday 19.30 - 21.00 cost £4.00

Coffee Mornings : First Saturday of the month from 10.00 to 13.00 approx
