Swallow Cottage is part of a 17th century converted barn and offers spacious and attractive accommodation for up to four people. A patio with outside seating is ideal for al fresco dining. The cottage is well equipped and surrounded by farmland with open views towards Morecambe Bay and the Lake District Hills. Ideal for those of you who want to take things easy and simply chill out in a beautiful cottage.

Swallow Cottage is located in the charming parish of High Tatham - a great base from which to explore the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, making it a superb place to relax and unwind in the Lancashire countryside. There are several brilliant walks right on your doorstep taking you through spectacular countryside and by local landmarks such as The Great Stone of Fourstones on the moorlands of nearby Tatham Fells, supposedly dropped by the devil while building Devil's Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale.

There's easy access to the nearby market towns of Settle, Skipton, Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale by car. There are plenty of activities and attractions to keep you occupied in the area including the famous White Scar Caves in Ingleton, the Three Peaks and the Settle to Carlisle Railway. You won't be too far from the coast if its fish, chips and ice cream you're craving- the seaside town of Morecambe is just 15 miles away and Blackpool approximately 45 miles!
