Sussex Youth Theatre

The main philosophy of SYT is to learn professional skills in a focused and disciplined manner within a happy, supportive family atmosphere. Whether you love to sing, act, dance, work backstage or just have a passion for putting a production together, then SYT is for you.
We are an independent company and as such can give much more to our students. We can nurture their talents, see them grow and don’t have the pressure of hitting targets set by someone else who doesn’t understand the group we are working with. That said, we work really hard with them and will expect them to give back even more. All in all it will be a great artistic experience, whether they are wanting to become a professional in the Entertainment Industry or just want to gain more confidence and further their communication skills. We aim to produce two shows per year, a Summer production and also a Christmas show. We also have special guests throughout the year to further the skills of the students.
