Sunshine Playgroup

We are a dedicated childcare setting, situated in Boldon Community Centre, New Road, Boldon Colliery.
Sunshine is a lovely little Playgroup (if we say so ourselves) but don't let the word "Playgroup" fool you - the children don't just play when they are with us - they also learn! We follow the EYFS closely, and each child is given a learning journal at the end of their time with us, which shows how much they have developed in every area.
We are OFSTED registered and have a Silver Stanley award, which we're very proud of.
We currently have places for children aged between 2 and school age - and can offer the "2 year offer" which is 15 free hours, in some circumstances.
Sunshine has morning and afternoon sessions, the morning sessions are from 9am - 12 noon (£8) or 9,30am - 12 noon (£10) and the afternoon sessions are 12.30pm - 3pm (£8) or 12.30pm - 3.30pm (£10).
We have regular visits from lots of different people and organisations, such as fireman, soldiers, dentists, the police, the road safety lady, Boogie beats, Kidz Klub, and we also have a professional photographer who comes to us every year.
