Sunrise Homes Services (SHS) are an accommodation and support services provider for looked after children and care leavers, aged of 16 years – 25 years, who are moving on from Children’s homes and family placements to semi-independent or/ and supported Accommodation. We have houses in Derby, Nottingham city and in Nottinghamshire. SHS offer services and accommodation to homeless young adults, unaccompanied asylum seekers, young people leaving secure units or mental health clinic. We offer a supported accommodation; - with 24 hour on- site support and staff cover; - floating/ outreach support. - Emergency placement Our aim is to offer the most vulnerable young people the opportunity to explore, practice and prepare to leave care in a supported environment. Young people will be ‘looked after’ by the local authority and have been identified as needing support in a residential holistic environment, or in their preparation for independence. We will ensure that the young people can cope, emotionally, economically, and socially when they leave to live independently in the community.
