Stourbridge Saturday Market

The new Saturday street market will be launched in Stourbridge on Saturday 11th February, 2017 and will take place every Saturday thereafter. The date has been chosen so that the launch will coincide with St Valentines weekend and the market will be themed ‘From Stourbridge with Love’, with a new bigger, fresher brighter image, and lots of new inspiring stalls, located ‘Under the clock’ on the junction of High Street, Coventry Street, Market Street, & Lower High Street, with lots of romantic surprises on St Valentines weekend. Stalls will be £30 per day on the new market but for a period of six weeks, from 11th February until 25th March as a goodwill opening offer, the rent will be reduced by 50%, so for the first six weeks traders will be charged £15 per stall, per day, to enable them to build their reputation and become established. Although this is a regular market and stalls will be predominantly let to permanent traders, a couple of stalls will be retained and only let on a daily/casual basis, this is so that we can accommodate visiting farmers, growers, and producers who are unable to commit to weekly trading, this system will be applied to help keep the market alive, and inspiring, always having a turn around of something local, seasonal, and fresh.
