Welcome to Stourbridge Cricket Club Facebook page. Established in 1842 the club has a long and a distinguished history. Much of our past from 1894 to 2003 has been spent playing in the Birmingham District league. The year 2011 is the 25th anniversary of Stourbridge Cricket Club winning the National Knock Out (now known as the Cockspur Cup) at Lords in 1986. Our main location is at the Memorial Ground, High Street, Amblecote, Stourbridge. First Class Cricket was played at the Memorial Ground between the years 1905 and 1981. Currently we are in Division 2 Of The Birmingham And District League. We put out four teams on Saturdays and two teams on Sundays. We are a Focus Club with junior sections that stretches across all age groups. In addition to the core information, we hope that the website gives you an insight into our activities and our future plans to ultimately improve cricket and make a positive contribution to the local community.
