Stocc Lodge

Stocc Lodge is a tribute to the origins of the name Stockton, thought by some to derive from the Anglo Saxon word Stocc, meaning Log. So to answer your question, we've kind of called the pub Log Lodge (in Anglo Saxon). We've tried to capture the spirit and feel of a relaxed Lodge with a complete overhaul of the interior and exterior of the pub with wooden panelling, reclaimed wood flooring and a feature fireplace, chimney and hearth, for fireside eating and drinking (think Alpine re-treat without the snow...or ski's).

...if you've ever had the pleasure of staying in a Lodge either up a mountain or next to lake, you'll know how relaxing it is surrounded by tactile wood, with a chilled glass of wine by the fireside and communal dining with friends. We wanted to bring this feeling to the suburbs or Stockton. Whether it's enjoying a hand-stretched pizza with friends, sampling one of our rotating real ales or our fantastic range of gins we have the all the ingredients for you to have a fantastic relaxing night out with friends and family.
From hand-stretched pizzas, rustic sharing boards, tasty nibbles and pub classics, we have food to impress everyone’s appetites…and for those Al Fresco diners out there, our outdoor patio area is the perfect place. It's just as important for your children to eat the same quality ingredients that you do, that’s why our children’s menu is homemade and never from frozen. You won’t find the usual suspects of chicken nuggets in our kitchen!
