More about Stereofunk

The one day event takes place at Strathclyde Country Park, Lanarkshire on the May Day Bank Holiday and boasts a very special, intimate festival vibe that is second to none.

Stereofunk showcases the talents of over 100 of Scotland’s best djs and bands as well as a sprinkling of well known international talent. Over 80 djs and 15 bands play across seven arenas at the all day event which runs from 12 noon to 10.30pm.

The brand Stereofunk was founded in 2005; That very summer the boys descended deep into the woods of Wiston to an old 18th Century lodge alongside another 150 like minded revellers for the first ever Stereofunk ‘You Got The Love’. Following on with other secret castle parties here and there, the magical atmospheres at the events captured the imagination of many from far and wide and before long the event had to move to Strathclyde Park to cope with demand. The rest is history…

Nowadays Stereofunk aims to put on fantastic events which have a great atmosphere, a great crowd and don’t cost the earth. Already renowned for delivering all of these the event continues to grow year on year with sell out after sell out.

Over the years Stereofunk has hosted many artists including Fedde Le Grand, Yousef, The Complete Stone Roses, Grant Nelson, Tim Burgess, Judge Jules, The Underground Jam, Bodyrox, Bart B More, The Kings Of Lyon, Danny Rampling, The Fillers, K Klass, Funkagenda and Dave Pearce.

The event is held at Strathclyde Park on an area of grass near to the Watersports centre. It is a fantastic picturesque location not only in the heart of Lanarkshire but also the centre of Scotland and has superb road and rail links

The event is for over 18s only and has fully licensed bars, quality food vendors and still continues to be one of the most affordable festivals in Britain.
