Some of our testimonials:
"I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a really big thank you for all your hard work over the last 4 1/2 years looking after one very excitable and bouncy little boy. You were all so welcoming in the baby unit that it wasn't long before he settled right in and really looked forward to going to nursery every day. My most sincerest of thanks."

"Jane - thank you for coming to my rescue when I had one week before I had to start work and my previous childcare let me down! You run a very well organised nursery."

"I feel safe in the knowledge that my son receives a high standard of care".

"I honestly do not know what I would have done if I had not registered my son with Stepping Stones!"

"I would recommend Stepping Stones to anyone looking for a childcare provider, and I have!"

"3-5 room - you have done so much to teach him about the alphabet and numbers. Learning to read and write, and generally get him ready for the next big adventure in his life - school."

"He is now 9 years old (and) enjoys, very much, the Holiday Club that he attends. He is kept very busy with all the many activities - craft or cookery, a personal favourite, or outdoor games."

"Thank you for providing all the food! You must be doing something right, he always has thirds!"

"We will miss you and take with us (and hopefully leave behind) the fondest of memories.

"To all staff, past and present, thank you so very much."

"I don't know if you ever have a use for parents comments / quotes but should you want a quote from a parent with a disabled child :
'From the outset Stepping Stones Nursery had a very open welcoming approach and a can-do attitude to supporting a disabled child in their foundation / pre-school year. Our little girl has been safe, well cared for and very happy here. (Stepping Stones) worked well with visiting professionals including regular visits from the local authorities eg the Sensory Impairment team. Thank you - we are very grateful.' "

"Thank you for looking after me for 3 1/2 years and for teaching me all the clever things - I have had so much fun and will miss you lots. Look out for me in my new school uniform when I come to pick up and drop off my little brother...... cos i'm off to be a 'schooley'! Love from Elliott."

"Dear Karen and James - Thank you for a big garden! Love from Caspar x "

"Thank you VERY MUCH! for looking after me the past few years - I have loved growing up at Stepping Stones and will miss you all lots! Lyla (& Mum)."

I just wanted to say a big thank you from both Scott and myself for being such an integral and important part of his life.
If I ever have any more children please be assured I will be seeking your excellent child care assistance.

Thank you so much for being the first safe and stable STEPPING STONE in Thomas's education. We appreciate your hard work and dedication. When we asked Thomas what he will most miss he answered "Sarah's Tuna pasta!" We know he will miss you all!

Thank you all for a lovely time! Lillie has spent an amazing year with you and she was so happy to be here.

From our most recent Ofsted inspection:

Children are happy, comfortable and settle quickly into their play when their parents' leave. Children take part in a range of activities that covers all areas of learning and development.

Children demonstrate they are happy, and comfortable in their surroundings. The key person system is working effectively. Staff care for children's individual needs when they first arrive at the setting, which helps children settle quickly. As a result, young children form secure attachments with their key person. Children sleep according to their individual needs. Staff show affection towards the children in their care and offer reassurance and cuddles to those children who require it.
