With sunbed use in the UK increasing drastically over the last 10 years, especially among male tanners, and the number of skin cancer cases increasing to 80% caused by sunbed use, the tanning industry was crying out for a safe alternative.

Until now, the only safe alternative to UV or chemical injections/tablets, was fake tan lotions, sprays and self-applying mousses, all which left skin feeling dry, looking orange and after a couple of days of wear, going patchy as the product wore off unevenly on the skin's surface.

Star Tanning Products were designed with one thing in mind; to give tan lovers a safe and natural alternative they could convert to instead of sunbeds, essentially reducing the number of skin cancer cases caused by sunbed use.

We essentially designed the most perfect fake tan possible, eliminating every fake tan pet hate.

Made with all natural ingredients, no alcohol, no chemicals and no harsh dyes, the only ingredient preventing us labeling the product range as Organic is the scented oil used to give the products a fresh, pleasant odour rather than the "biscuit" smell generally related to fake tan. Star for Women products are scented with juicy watermelon oils and Star for Men products have been scent matched to Bleu de Chanel aftershave to give the masculine touch.

Due to the unique melanin-enhancing formula, each application of Star Tanning Spray/Mousse will last around 9 days, or up to 14 days when using our unique Colour Lock Moisturising Spray after applying your tan, with no patchiness or uneven wear.
