Stadco Limited

Stadco Limited is a leading international supplier of Body-In-White products and services to the automotive industry. It has four UK sites in Castle Bromwich, Telford, Shrewsbury and Powys and employs more than 1,100 people.

To support its continued growth Stadco has developed and invested c. £70m, since 2009, in the latest smartest flexible manufacturing solutions and facility upgrades. Recent investments include the acquisition of an 18 acre facility in Telford and the installation of two leading edge 4,000 tonne transfer press lines.

Employees are at the core of its success and the organisation is committed to finding, recruiting and developing the very best talent. This is underpinned by the drive to become a Learning Organisation and having an obsession with continuous improvement. Stadco is committing more than £500,000 per annum to training and development. This includes initiatives such as the Institute of Leadership Management training for 70 first-line managers, Health and Safety behavioural training for every employee in the organisation and a 3 year programme of Six-Sigma training which will deliver 60 accredited Green Belts. There is also a strong commitment to those starting their manufacturing career, with apprenticeship, undergraduate and graduate programmes.
