St. Mary's Church Boxford

St Mary is part of a group of friendly and welcoming rural and village churches, known as the Box River Benefice, which also includes: St Mary the Virgin, Edwardstone; St Bartholomew's, Groton; St Lawrence's, Little Waldingfield; and All Saints', Newton.

There is on street parking around the church, but there is no church car park or public village car park.

Boxford is on bus route 91/91C, the Sudbury - Ipswich via Hadleigh service, currently operated by Beestons. There are no services on Sundays or Bank Holidays. The nearest railway station is in Sudbury, 7 miles away.

The two main entrances to the building, through the north and south porches, both have steps into the interior of the building. Wheel chair access is available by arrangement through the west door.

If you are new to the Village and come to one of our services, please do make yourself known to a sides person so that you can be properly welcomed.

Details of all the current month's church services in the Benefice, together with information about other church and village events, are available online in the pages of the local Village Newspaper, the Box River News. This publication serves all of the five villages in our Benefice. The church pages are usually in the middle of each edition of the Box River News and a link to this Newspaper appears on the home page of the Boxford Village Hall website which can be found at http://www.boxfordvillagehall.co.uk/
