The Spa Den Matlock Bath had brought the latest in Heath, Beauty and natural healing technology, not only to Derbyshire but the 1st in the UK in the form of the WellOne Premium Hot Spa and MicroSilk Oxygen Therapy System.
The area in and around Matlock Bath has been renowned since the 1600’s for its natural warm spring water and its amazing healing and health benefits. Matlock was also home to the UK’s 1st hydrotherapy Hospital & retreat which Sir John Smedley opened for his mill workers and families.
We at the Spa Den have combined the natural properties of water and with the modern technology of MicroSilk to bring to you a Spa Day feeling all from a 1 hour treatment.
Now the science behind Spa Den’s MicroSilk Oxygen Therapy:-
- MicroBubbles super saturate the water with 70% more oxygen then regular tap water
- MicroBubbles enter the tub in form of a dense cloud which envelopes the hole body
- MicroBubbles create anions when released in high concentration level they are shown to have therapeutic effects of improved serotonin and this gives the body and mind a feeling of calm and wellbeing this also helps with things like pain management and promotes relaxation and deeper rewarding sleep
- With regular air bubbles they rise to the surface of the water and burst cooling down the water temperature which dissolves any oxygen in the water but MicroBubbles suspend in the water and implode keeping heat energy and maintaining a consistent temperature in the Tub.
