South Staffs Golf Club

The South Staffordshire Golf Club is situated in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. The course was originally designed in 1908 by Harry Vardon and over the years has been updated by golfing luminaries as Harry Colt, James Braid and more recently Donald steel. It is considered by many to be one of the finest courses in the Midlands.

The course is set in 160 acres and the 6587 yard par 71 course is maintained to the highest standards. It possesses a series of interesting and challenging holes, including no fewer than six par four holes.

The Clubhouse provides comfortable surroundings to relax before or after a round of golf, including lounge bar, spike bar and terrace. Plus a dining room which can be hired for special occasions.

Our Pro Golf Shop is by the first tee and is well stocked. We are also home to the Peter Baker Golf Academy where lessons can be given and swing improvements made in the indoor swing clinic or at the 10 acre driving range and practice area.

Visitors and Societies are more than welcome with discounted green fees and packages.
