South Glasgow Bookbug

The Bookbug programme is all about enjoying books and rhymes with your child. We aim to provide free packs of books to every child in the south and south east Glasgow and also run fun, free activities such as Bookbug Sessions, where babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their parents come together to enjoy rhymes, sing songs and listen to stories. The bookbug staff work in partnership with the local childcare forums and children and families support agencies, and have built up extensive knowledge of the services throughout the area enabling them to signpost and inform parents on local services and childcare provision.

Bookbug run several large free, fun filled events featuring a main show involving singing and dancing, as well as a magician, balloon making, face painting, arts & crafts, play dough and lots of information from local services in your area, throughout the year in the South and South East of Glasgow.
