Souters Sports are firmly established as one of the UK’s leading specialist sportsturf contractors providing sports ground construction, land souters_logodrainage and sports pitch renovation services. Founded in 2000 by Managing Director Stewart Aird, the company has benefited from a policy of continual investment, expansion and diversification with experience ranging from national stadiums to local authority sports pitches.

Equipped for the 21st century, the investment has been aimed at developing a well structured, efficient company that provides a service second to none to all of our clients, however large or small, high profile or otherwise. History has proven that our clients come back to us for future contracts and are happy to recommend our various services to others.

Although the company owns, maintains and operates a modern fleet of plant and equipment, undertaking a diversity of operations including earthmoving and landscaping works, we realise that to ensure our service is of the highest standard possible a management policy of investment in staff and training is both encouraged and adopted. Put simply, the machinery cannot work on its own and the administration will not happen by itself, so we are continually training and developing our staff to ensure you, the client, get the ultimate sports turf contracting experience.

Souters Sports client base includes local authorities such as Liverpool and Glasgow City Council’s, The Scottish Rugby Union, Glasgow Rangers FC, Celtic FC and Chelsea FC along with countless private sports clubs and individual clients. We regularly work in partnership with other construction companies on major construction projects such as the many new schools, sports centres and community developments that are being created. Our expertise is not confined to sports facilities; in recent years the company has designed and constructed nature reserves, wildlife habitats, reservoirs, lakes and ponds throughout the UK.

The core business of Souters Sports is land drainage, sports ground construction, golf course developments & upgrading and all natural turf maintenance. We are often required to undertake small civils works, fencing and landscaping, which we are able to carry out to similarly high standards.
