Soul Scene

Soul Scene will take you back to the Golden Era of Soul & Disco music from the 70s through to the late 80s.

We'll also include your favourite Northern Soul Stompers.

Soul Scene is presented by Sights 'n' Sounds, established in 1976, a well respected company in the Bury St Edmunds area and throughout East Anglia and who entered the scene at the peak of the soul and disco craze of the mid 70s.

Being there at the time was a big advantage. We know the music, including those elusive import tracks that never made the charts but were huge on the dancefloor.

So come along and relive those great times, or if you're not old enough to remember, get a whole new experience of what dance music is all about.

We're very grateful to the The Cedars Hotel, Stowmarket for allowing us to use their hotel for this event, and hope it will be the start of a long and successful run.

We have created a vast record collection over the years, including many of the original 12" singles both UK releases and US Imports of Soul & Dance music from the 70s and 80s.

Much of this is now transferred to digital format and we will be using this for our events.

Many of today's artists are returning to this style of dance music. So come and join us, to hear and dance to the original tunes that are inspiring a whole new generation.
