Social Soundwaves

Founded by Gareth Leaman in 2014, Social Soundwaves is a community based organisation that predominantly facilitates young people with Creative Music/Multimedia Workshops, Traineeships and Mentor Support.
It was created with the ambition of inspiring young people onto creative paths, giving them a sense of identity and ownership within their creative field. With a number of highly professional tutors on board with a combined experience of over 40 years working with young people, Social Soundwaves offers services to a high industry standard and can guarantee very productive results.
Every tutor on board are professional musicians/artists with a burning passion for mentoring the young people in their own unique positive ways. With the ability to quickly identify the participants need of direction we can facilitate them with exactly what they need to take the next step towards their creative future. Our projects are always defined on the participants creative interest and can be adapted and run at a comfortable learning speed.
We have absolutely no restriction on who can get involved with us wether it be experience, age or race. Social Soundwaves aims to bring people from all backgrounds together through fun and educational industry practices.
Working in partnership with such organisations such as: Community Music Wales, UnLtd, Pentalk, Urban Circle, Randomz and many more, Social Soundwaves is strongly supported and recommended by
Social Soundwaves has worked with a number of different groups of young people, many from the most socially deprived and disadvantaged backgrounds in South Wales, Social Soundwaves understands the nature of Youth Culture and how young people respond to different creative stimuli. Young people are the future… So lets give them the tools they need to shape the next generation of creativity!!
