This sanctuary is founded in Snuffles name to give a safe haven for abused and unwanted Ratties where they can find love and a peaceful existence.
Adoptions will only be accepted on signing of adoption contract. Any adoptions remain under the shelter of Snuffles Sanctuary for life.
Adoptions may NOT be re-sold.
Adoptions may NOT be rehomed without written permission of Snuffles Sanctuary Admin.
Adoptions must be returned to Snuffles Sanctuary should parent circumstances change where ratties can no longer be homed.
A homecheck for all fosters and adoptions is mandatory.
Fosterers agree to sign a contract detailing and agreeing to their responsibilities toward rat needs, welfare and veterinary care.
Snuffles Sanctuary reserve the right to seize any adopted or fostered rat where doubt about said rat welfare exists.
Prosecution for breach of contract and cruelty will be fully persued in a court of law if adoption or foster rat becomes or is sold for snake food.
